Cerne Abbas is one of my favourite places in the whole wide world.
Lots of nice places to walk.
Lots of friendly people with nice dogs.
Lots of dog-welcoming, dog-friendly hostelries.
And my favourite bit, running through the village itself, a German Shepherd-sized rill fed by the River Cerne.
Just right for a refreshing dunk after tramping through the hills and before visiting our favourite cafe for afternoon tea and dog biscuits.
What could be better?
